One to One -5 day Locksmith introduction course - Workshop & out on the road!
Our 5 day introduction locksmith course is designed and aimed at the novice hoping to become a locksmith and to give you an insight into the locksmith world, get a feel for tools, techniques and learn some great principles & key foundations to get you on your way! With this in mind this course offers such a unique experience with learning key skills in the workshop but also on call outs on real jobs, dealing with customers and seeing real life jobs and scenarios you may find yourself in.
You will learn real scenarios & common problems that you will use constantly out in the field and gain confidence in strategies and problem solving from the knowledge gained on the course.
INTRODUCTION COURSE
Use of tools and understanding the reasons for choice
Gaining entry with NDE methods such as
by passing, picking, & bumping, here at South Uk we use electric pick guns, hand picks, mirrors, cameras, letterbox tools and attachments and bump keys.
•How to change common locks such as rim cylinders, euros and BS night latches.
•Common faults of upvc & mechanism repairs and replacing parts, gearbox replacement ,handles & locks.
•Door alignment issues and such as toe & heel & hinge remedies
•Bench work practise with a variation of tools such as try out keys and hand picking.
•Opening Rim cylinders, Euro locks, wafer locks, & 3 lever deadlocks.
•Training with real doors, and working with different scenarios and different hand tools.
We also have advanced door opening such as camera systems on auto deadlocking doors with restricted letterboxes, so we always find a way to overcome difficult scenarios.
Also we show you destructive entry as last resort or entry if faulty parts.
